Back Issues of PassageMaker Wanted
Subject says it all. Their app has issues back to 2012. I would like to find as many as I can prior to that, or ideally, all of them. Thanks!

Too bad I got rid of all my old ones, I had them all back to the beginning. Actually the older ones were much better than the current issues.

You can have a bunch of boxes of mine , but you will need to come and get them.
I have the old issues from #1 on up for a bunch of years.
I paid $200 for the issues , there free if you take them.

A search would have found my posting,

Long way to go for a partial collection. I would love to find them all at one time. Thanks.

"Long way to go for a partial collection. I would love to find them all at one time."
The first 100 issues are the hardest to find in a complete set.
Good hunting,

Good Luck. It's rare for people collect things with no intrinsic value. The rare individual who sees value where there is none, rarely wants to part with their 'treasures'. Watch any episode of American Pickers.
Which leads me to my favorite question. Why? What value do they hold? What information can be provided which is not readily available in a myriad of alternative resources?

I don’t know this as a fact but “supposedly “ there was an article on small trawlers years ago and our boat “William” was in the article. It was when the PO and his wife were in the Bahamas on the boat . Maybe it was back in 2006 ? I have a sticker from Bahamas customs on the boat from 2006 .

"What information can be provided which is not readily available in a myriad of alternative resources?"
TIME!
Sure someone can Google for a few weeks to obtain similar info, but the early issues have the info in one place.
Much of what is on the net is just commercial advertising , that seldom covers failures.
The concepts and equipment from decades ago is very different from todays gear , and relates to more folks boats .
Answers the question "why did they do that , that way?"
Lots easier to take a mag to the head or aft deck than bring an electric reader.

Okay, or perhaps I just don’t want to drive for 12 hours? Is that crazy?

They would be helpful for a project I am working on. I’ll leave it at that.

"Knowledge is Power"
The power, perhaps to understand a problem could easily SAVE 12 hours.
And maybe more bucks than a tank of gas.
