Sold-36' Seahorse Marine Coot

Strength, Economy, Comfort. Cormorant was specifically designed for Northwest cruising. Her steel hull and protected running gear provide an elevated level of safety. 200+ gallons of water, 400+ gallons of fuel and an efficient John Deere 4045DFM70 give her autonomy not seen on vessels of her size. (1500+nm range) All of this combined with a queen berth, washer/dryer, separate shower stall, walk around decks, autopilot, satellite compass, and bow thruster. Will consider trade for select blue water sailboats or Aluminum fishing vessels. Cormorant (206)696-0234 $240,000

Good looking vessel!
- some more photos would be nice.
( too bad you are on the west coast, I have a 41' blue water gaff schooner that could be traded. )

She looks really clean. Good luck with your sale. Shouldn't be a problem in the Pacific Northwest selling such a well-equipped and beautiful boat

I know this little ship and she's a beauty! I met the owners while in Anacortes, WA at the TrawlerFest and they gave me a tour of their Coot. All I can say is that when I saw her, a couple of years ago, she was in Bristol condition and showed like she was fresh of the showroom floor. The owners, both airline pilots if I recall correctly, have meticulously cared for her since they bought her in 2011. I'm sure she looks as good today as she did when I saw her in Anacortes.

This is a photo I took of her while in Anacortes:

Trucking

I have had a few inquiries as to the feasibility of transporting the vessel via truck. With Cormorant’s folding mast, truck transport is very easy. Loaded on the correct trailer she will load out under 14ft. When we finished our ICW trip in 2011 the trucking cost from Jacksonville, FL to San Diego was $8600.

Wifey B: And the lesson is you should have transported it by truck.

Shipping

As Mark alluded to in his post, the Coot fits nicely on a 40ft flat rack for international shipping via container ship.

I have been aboard Comorant, the photos do not do her justice. She is the very definition of "Bristol".

Cormorant (hull #5) and Carquinez Coot (hull #6) are sisters. Cor has genset and more onboard comforts like big frig, but the Coot has a sail-assist rig and isn't for sale.

Cor is directly astern of Coot; pictured in China.

360° Photo of Pilothouse

I am experimenting with a 360° camera. I added a link to the photo of the pilothouse. I would be interested in feedback, especially viewing experience, as I am not sure it works with all platforms.

For the one 360 photo I pulled up, it worked perfectly on an iphone 6+
