I remember one Sanctuary Cove Boat Show a few years ago I fell heavily in love with a Selene 53. I also suffered hideous envy when it so happened my look-see coincided with the time a clearly cashed up & rather loudly arrogant buyer was fine-tuning the deal in the cockpit, and I could not help over-hearing. Just hearing him discussing all the 'extras' he wanted fitted before he took delivery made me...well...I wanted to kill him actually. (Just kidding, but only just). I kept asking myself what/where had I done/gone so wrong..? I got over it…eventually...

As usual, your right on the money, Craig. Here's an indication of where I'm at while I await the survey, sea trial process.

Yep! (Hopefully..)

Comment: For those of you that have 8 knots boats. I'm getting a terrific response to SeaHorse but no offers as of yet. Always asking "why" is part of my DNA. Most, who answered truthfully, pointed out that speed was their main concern. (As it is mine!) SoCal seems to be an area that the present market wants more speed. (Minimum 15 knots & I agree with that, whole heartily.) Unless you are in the Delta, there is a lot of open water to deal with down here and more speed is a really nice commodity to have. (I can always slow down...)

On the other hand, if you just want a really nice little seaworthy trawler to chug along the coast in.....I have it!
