Hate to do this but our priorities have changed, and sea kayaking just doesn't work into those plans...
Now offering our two Pygmy stitch-and-glue mahogany kayaks, which my husband built in 2008. Use since that time has been relatively minimal, but they are currently being varnished and cleaned up in anticipation of new owners. They are located in Northern Virginia.
1. 17' standard with two sealing hatches and custom "inlay" work. Photo attached. Price is $1500 firm.
2. 20' double with rudder kit and custom "inlays." Once varnish is dry on bottom, I can send photos to anyone interested. $2000 firm.
With a bit of research, I think you will find that these are reasonable prices for these beautiful and functional kayaks.
We are relatively new to this forum, but I have been doing much lurking and learning as we plan for our upcoming retirement Trawler adventures. Hopefully I have provided enough basic info on these kayaks--please message me for more!
