I doubt you will find another 23 year old boat as nice as this one. Thanks for your comment!

I was just going to ask the age...might have missed it, but didn't see it on the listing. 1992?

Yes. 1992. I'll have to recheck my listing to make sure it's in there. Only reason I'm selling is to move up to a 40'-45' trawler.

Now I see it in the title on this thread. Guess I missed that, too!

She's sure a beautiful boat! The 34 Californian LRC I own was designed to compete directly with the 32 GB. Layouts are somewhat similar but your joinery is much better than on the Californian.

A single Cummins on a 32 sounds rare. Is it?

Best of luck on the sale!

The two previous owners had kept the "sticker". It reflects a price of $284,500. That did not include electronics, HVAC system, generator, or bow thruster. Those were added later.

Not sure what that would be in today's dollars, but, it is way more than a 32' boat is worth. I'm guessing that if they were to build one today it would be in the $450-500K range which would put it out of reach for the average buyer.

Which is exactly why they took the GB36 out of production once and for all in the early 2000s. It simply cost too much to build than the market would bear for "just" a 36' boat, particularly when there were so many other boats in that size with much lower new-boat prices.

Marin is exactly right. The production costs, materials and labor, for a boat that size could not justify its selling price so production ceased in the early 90's. From the information I have, hull #855 (my boat) was the last 32 built at their Singapore facility before they moved to Malaysia. After which 6 more were built before production was halted and they focused on larger yachts.

MOTIVATED SELLER - I have lowered the price of Loon to $129,000. In addition, I have a very recent survey and an engine analysis of the main engine, transmission, and genset. While the price is higher than most GB32's on the market, this is very unique boat in absolute "turn key" condition and is ready to cruise. Please visit my web page Home
for much more information, photos, and video.
