Due to a possible change in career paths, I'm selling my boat. I'd rather not, but I need to tighten my belt for a while. I've owner her for three years now, and have really enjoyed my time aboard.
For a boat of this class, she's fairly well traveled. In the last few years, she's cruised all over the Finger Lakes of NY, Crossed Lake Ontario several times, and spent weeks port hopping in the Thousand Islands. We've been out in some pretty lumpy seas together, and she's handled it well. The crew and I have always felt safe.
The hull is solid and dry. There are no blisters or soft spots. There is no indication that there are any leaks from ports, hatches, through hulls or any other areas.
This boat is spacious and comfortable enough for a couple to spend a week aboard without stepping on any toes (unless you're into that sort of thing.) The cabin sleeps 5. Two in the V-berth, two in the aft cabin, and one on the expanding settee. The cabin is air conditioned, and also sports good ventilation from two big opening overhead hatches, which also let in a good amount of natural light. The cabin features a settee to starboard, which runs forward into the V-berth, where there is a removable table. To port is the galley, which features a refrigerator, microwave, electric/alcohol stove, sink with pressure water, and lots of storage. The aft cabin is to port, and has lots of storage, and a newly reupholstered cushion. The head is to starboard, and is fully functional, with sink and shower attachment. The head is a manual flush, which is plumbed to a 20 Gallon black water holding tank. She holds 40 gallons of fresh water.
The cockpit seats 5-6 people comfortably, with plenty of room for a big cooler. The big bimini offers lots of shade, and for less than perfect weather, there's a full canvas enclosure. If you don't feel like putting that up when you leave the boat, there's a handy cockpit cover. At the bow, there's a nice sun pad for laying out. The windlass has a remote control at the helm, which makes single handed anchoring really easy. Fortress FX-16 anchor is new, as is 50' of galvanized chain, and 250' of nylon. All dock lines, fenders, life preservers, spare anchor, shore power cord, ditch bag and safety/survival gear are included.
The Engines are Mercruiser 4.3lx gas V6s, with Alpha One outdrives. Single lever controls and outboard turning twin screws make her very maneuverable. I've single handed her a lot. Engines run well, and have 925 hours on them. The gas tank will hold 120 gallons. Shift / Throttle cables, gimbal bearings, bellows, impellers, a coupler, a fuel pump and both fuel filters have all been professionally replaced in the last two years.
She'll get up to about 36 knots at WOT, and will cruise happily at 22-24 knots. At cruise speed, she burns about 15 gals/hr. No, this is not a long range, highly fuel efficient vessel. Yes I'm aware of where I'm posting this.
