If this is the listing, I looked at that boat the other day. https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/198.../#.W2pifFVKiCg

Why is the price so low?

She is priced right. It is a 1981. Overall good condition but age shows.
A very comfortable boat for 2 people. There are more beds but the single head is down by master. Interior has been updated.
Hand laid Hull and very thick. A great boat to head to Alaska.

I do like the style. Not sure it has enough room as a live aboard though which is what I am looking for. Also I'm sure transport costs would be astronomical.

Shipping to where?
It was a live aboard for 20 years before I got her. The space is very comfortable.
Did you see her here or just online?

Nothing personal, the wiring strung all about, low engine room head room, are two items that struck me as to what the total housekeeping of the boat shouts.
The price IS attractive no doubt, and yes, if it were to be continued as a live a board in the Seattle area, facing housing cost on the hard, it is a good deal.
Were I interesting, it would be more so if the power plant was a straight no extra basic tractor engine like a non-turbo Perkins, or Leman Ford.
Not knocking the effort on the sale, it will go soon at the price. I wouldn't be too hasty considering additional lowering of the price.

One last comment, you might consider removing the photo of the gentleman as his facial expression seems depressing over more than the thought of selling the boat, more like "What in the hell is happening?"

All said with good humor intended.

Regards,
Al-Ketchikan
