I'm taking some engine room photos this weekend. This site only allows me to post 10 pictures maximum so if you'd like to see more pictures of the boat just email me directly and I can send them to you. Thanks

Looks lovely, and sounds like a well sorted out early GB. Hope she finds an appreciative family for the next 30 years!

Have you considered uploading photos to an online photo album like www.photobucket.com ? Then you could provide us a link to your album so everyone on TF could see the photos of your beautiful GB.

nice boat, but will a bank give anyone a loan on it based on age & being wood?

If I'm correct in that assumption it leaves the seller a small pool of buyers.

I think it should be a glass boat based on it build year. But yeah, you might have trouble getting a loan.

Yes, she'd be a glass boat. Ours is hull 360; built in 1973 she was the 8th GB42 out of the mold. Don't know where this particular boat is located but prices and demand for these vessels in the PNW remain pretty good. Every year we get a couple of inquiries about selling. FWIW, the big issue I've seen with vintage wood boats is not so much getting financing but getting insurance.

I don't think either will be a problem, if it surveys strong and the buyer has outstanding credit.

860 appears to be a CT area code. Not sure that's where the boat is.
