Pictures of Bluewater 40 PH Being Built in Taiwan

Here are picture of a Bluewater 40 Pilothouse being built in Taiwan in 1976. I bought Sandpiper from the original owner who visited the boat being built and took these pictures.

The first picture shows the boat in the shed. The 40 PH mold is in front of it.

The second shows two sailboat transoms. Bluewater also built cruising sailboats.

The third pic shows the two sailboats and 40 PH mold better. You can see that the mold is split. The two halves of the hull were laminated separately and joined.
