Sold-Your next dinghy: 2008 Rigid w/ 15hp Mercury

Our soon-to-be-new-to-us boat comes with a dinghy so we're selling our existing one. This is a 2008 Rigid Sport Tender copy with center console steering. It looks like an inflatable but it's all fiberglass. The 2010 Mercury 15 hp, four stroke outboard has less than 200 hours on it and runs perfectly. This cute little boat easily planes with two medium-sized adults and comes with a popup bimini top, a VHF radio, a Garmin Striker 4 fishfinder with Chirp technology (new in 2018), fire extinguisher, and an electric bilge pump. The outboard motor has an alternator on it, which keeps the three year old battery charged up, and the six gallon fuel tank provides terrific range for all day touring around. Plus, the seat lifts up to expose tons of storage in the tubes.

Your new dinghy comes with a Karavan trailer with safety chains and a never-used spare tire mounted on the frame.

This boat and trailer are located in Lakeland, Florida (between Orlando and Tampa) and are ready to go. Asking $5,500.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

John

Good question. Forgot to include that. With a full tank of fuel, we figure it weighs about 550 lbs. Our 600 lb davit would pick it up with no problem.

You say "2008 Rigid Sport Tender copy" so who makes it? And you say storage in the "tubes", do you have pix? And can it handle 4 people?

Looks pretty nice. Anxious to hear the answers, and the weight.

There used to be some company in Sarasota or Naples or someplace along the west coast that was making Rigid copies. Don't think they're in business anymore. The title is listed as "Florida Homebuilt." That's how it was when I bought it and when the previous owner bought it. Feels strong and sturdy.

Some additional photos:

Seat closed

Seat open. The bar under the seat is the white all around light for traveling after dusk. It unclips and then slides into a socket on the starboard stern. There is a red and green combination light in the front.

View of the portside storage. The starboard tube has the same kind of storage. It stretches to the stern and all the way forward.

Cobra VHF radio with weather and DSC

One of three popup cleats

One of two fishing rod holders.

Oh, and a 15 pound mushroom anchor with 25 foot rode is included as well as two 25' dock lines.

It's so stable, you can literally stand on the tube without it tipping over!

I put myself and two large sons in it with no problem. Of course, it wouldn't plane with those brutes plus me in there.
