    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.
    • Declines to allow viewing the item before proceeding with the transaction.

Depending where you are it does freeze in FL .

Dockside electric may be iffy , as every other boat owner will be running a heater at the same time , for about 20c an hour (each heater) if you are metered.
 
This is great. My boat had one from original owner. Second owner went to Florida and pulled it out. I brought the boat back to Maryland for the refit, wish I’d had one, but resisted because our plans were for Caribbean. Now in Caribbean but will install one when I get back to Maryland, as we may head North next time. Even left the hole in the cabin top for reinstall.

If it is still for sale when I pass through, I’d be interested.

Do not know why you felt to make your observation. It is my decision to sell the heater, regardless of my location.(FT Lauderdale) and yes, it has dropped below freezing here in the past.:confused::nonono:

I have no idea how many winters you have survived in FL, or how far north you are , it snows in Jax at times.

Some folks actually believe the "Come on Down" TV BS,

Our boat has Dickinson diesel heat that was very useful when a Northerner would blast thru the Bahamas.

We live aboard (Defever 44) just south of Annapolis. We stay quite warm with just one oil-filled radiator and two ceramic heaters after the water gets too cold to use the reverse cycle heat. Sure, it gets cold in Jacksonville, sometimes. Wouldn't be an impediment for us. Plus, the reverse cycle heat would be operational all winter there. The water temperature here will likely drop below 42 degrees here in two or three weeks rendering the reverse cycle useless.

FL has had 17 recorded snow events in the 21st Century. Many of them occurred during 2010. With that said, I have lived in FL almost all of my life and have yet to see a snowflake in FL.

Guess I am lucky, saw a snowflake in Miami the first 6 months I lived there (1977-1978). :)

Agree the OP is a big boy , but having lived aboard from Ft Lauderdake to NJ in the winter, having auxiliary heat besides electric is nice, but still whatever the owner wants

Glad is sold so fast, captain. Let's remember that this is the classified section and we'd like to keep discussions to a minimum. You can always PM the seller with a comment or suggestion, but the ads are most effective without the side conversations.
