Sold-10' Trinka Yacht Tender & Dinghy

10’ Trinka – Manufactured by Johannsen Boat Works, Vero Beach, FL
Sale Price: $3,750
Boat is located in the Middle Keys in Florida. There is no trailer available. Buyer must arrange to pick up the dinghy.
We purchased this Trinka new in 2000 and used it as a tender to our Grand Banks trawler. Over the years we have had other boats that did not require a tender and during those times we kept the dinghy in storage. Recently we sold our Eastbay and the new boat cannot accommodate the Trinka. The boat, motor, sails, boat cover, oars and the accessories are in excellent condition.

LOA: 10’
Beam: 54 in.
Draft: 4 in to 28 in
Height: 27 in.
Weight: 130 Lbs.
Capacity: 4 persons or 550 Lbs.

Towable, motor, rowing, and sailing yacht tender built for rugged cruising service.
Hand-laid fiberglass hull, finished with gelcoat inside and out, wine glass transom, plumb bow. Teak trim provides an inner and outer rail around gunwales, reinforces the transom. The forward and aft seats are fiberglass, providing a watertight flotation.

Equipment:
Additional items include teak floorboards, bronze hardware, stainless steel protective molding on transom, forefoot and skeg, stainless steel 3/8" heavy off-shore towing eye with extra reinforcing, bronze drain. Sunbrella fabric boat cover. Fully equipped to row, sail, or motor.
- 7 ft. oars, bronze oarlocks and leathers, 2 pair bronze oarlock sockets, bronze oar clamp
- Complete sail kit includes a 2-piece aluminum, unstayed mast and boom, UK Dacron Sail, rudder and tiller with hiking stick, dagger board, and all running rigging.

I love the picture of the “T” underway w 4 people.
That’s my take on a dinghy and how to use it.
A very nice boat .. w charm even.

However I have an 18’ canoe w almost three times the capacity. Cheaper too but I’m in the wrong pond.

A lovely boat at an appealing price. Unfortunately I'm on the wrong ocean...oh, almost forgot, I've already got one.
