It's funny you ask. I once tried to buy the ole Cajun Rose in the 90's. I didn't have the $65'000 he wanted. The Li'l Miss BreCo was built in 1959 in Deltaville,Va. by Len Price. She is a chesapeake bay dead-rise, LOA is 53 foot, Beam is 15 foot, Draft is 3.5 foot, powered by a Detroit 6-71. She has been our Redneck yacht and we've kept her simple. I'm only asking $10'000.

Well a bolt of lightning brought the Rose down to simpler times. I've got a thread on here somewhere about her post fire rebuild. Man that's a great price for a super cool looking boat. If you don't mind and find the time I would like to see some pictures of the inside. I am about to start rebuilding the inside of the rose and like to get ideas. Thanks Paul

Those "Price built" boats were legendary in the chesapeake bay. Easily driven hulls. Hundreds of them were built as head boats and many are still working.

One of the local maritime or watermen museums might be interested...

The museum on St. Michaels was just able to acquire an original buy boat, to replace the replica they'd been running for tours all these many years.

Other museums may be in search of working originals, too...

I sure hope you have good luck selling her. She'd beautiful. My brother and I tried to sell our 41' baybuilt and ended up cutting her up and burning. I didn't have the heart to go to the bon fire. Larry
