Looking for a 32 to 34 ft trawler in Texas

We are moving from our sailboat to a trawler. We have an idea what we want, but just started looking. If you have a late 1980's to the 1990's smaller trawler for sale, we might be interested. We have been researching an Island Gypsy 32', but we are still open to others. Thank you!!

Have you compared to 32' Grand Banks . The prices keep coming down. You may find a 36' Grand Banks in your price range.

Welcome to the forum! Have you tried a yacbtworld.com search to increase the possible make and models?

If you like the IG32, you might also like the Californian 34 LRC. We love ours for cruising and fishing. Many use it as a dive boat, too. Very versatile design with 2 staterooms and a full shower/dry head, full walkarounds.

When I was looking 10 years ago, I set my search limits to not older than 1980. As a result, I almost missed the chance to buy this 1977 model. Fortunately a broker brought it to my attention.

You can also check craigslist for Houston and Corpus Christi. Several older boats listed currently. Good luck.

Now, I guess it's time to sell our Tug styled trawler. It's 30' LOA, and trailerable. I think I just listed it, but am not confortable it got printed. If you would like to know more, please contact me at: bobgilliam@msn.com.

Thanks
