Charter my Willard 40 this summer

We're going "land cruising" this summer, so I'm offering my Willard 40 trawler for a summer-long charter in the PNW. If you've dreamed of cruising these remarkable waters in your own liveaboard trawler, this could be the opportunity of a lifetime. I'm looking for someone with hands-on experience owning or operating a single screw trawler. If you're interested, please go to my website for more information: Home | northstarcharters

I would like to charter it for July but can't do it all summer. Chartering a cat in the Bahamas in June and kids have school commitments in August.

PM me if interested.

Have you considered insurance. Chartering is commercial activity and all recreational marine policies exclude coverage for commercial use.

David, you are correct...but working through my broker I made a special arrangement with my yacht insurance company. Only one charter per season and skipper must provide qualified resume.

How did your charter go this summer? Are you going to rent it out next summer?

Bligh, the charter went well. Since we have a few RV trips planned for the summer, I will likely offer Northstar for charter again. At this early stage I'm thinking two months - June and August.
