36' Grand Banks, wood, easy fixer or will part

I have acquired a 36' Grand Bank woodiie with two Ford Lehmans. It does need work but not a lot. Engines appear good, low hours, needs chine work but otherwise hull appears strong and tight; two brand new fuel tanks. Deck leaks on port side, some plywood panels on cabin need replacement; and it needs new upper end supports for rudder posts. That's all I have seen that needs attention. I used to repair wood boats for a living, have been trained and worked as a marine engineer and I had a 100 ton near coastal captains license which expired, so I can answer questions with some knowledge of the subject. I considered keeping it but I have decided on getting a work boat. I could use the engines and part it out but I would also be willing to sell the whole boat. If interested please email me at Thanks....

Wow, I thought the boat found a perfect owner. Someone who had repaired wood boats for a living and worked as a marine engineer.

I hope you and the boat find someone else as qualified. Good Luck hope it works out for all.
