Dinghy Crane boom for sale

Beautifully made, superior welding by Will Johnson Welding & Fabricating in Stuart, FL. Ready to receive your 2.5" OD solid bar aluminum standpipe for up to 500 lbs., or could do 1000 lbs. with a 3.5 ID standpipe. 7 foot reach radius, has removable boom-end collar so new owner can cut boom to preferred length by simply removing, doing the cut, and re-installing the collar. Winch saddle is big enough for any similar capacity winches. I also have the same boom on my boat, minus the backbone. Well built equipment. This one, $750, If you don't know a fabricator or welder for the standpipe or deck collars, you can copy my design. Cheap, durable alternative to pro-built units.

How much does it weigh? I suppose shipping to Washington state would cost a fortune. Looks like it would be perfect for my bulkhead.

Never thought of that use for it, but at least around here it’s a lot cheaper to buy galvanized steel units for land based operation. This one weighs about 85 lbs. and it’s non-reinforced sister boom (pictured below) on my boat is only 48 lbs. I guess I’d sell either one and keep the other, but I don’t need to lift over 300 # max so the lighter one works fine for me. Now if someone could give me a heavier dink with a nice console I’d probably keep the heavier one. Anyway, $450 for the smaller one and $750 for the big one above.

Larry those are both nice cranes . I wish they would’ve been available when I was trying to figure out my davits. Now I kinda wish I had went with a crane and roof storage for my dinghy. Good luck with sale .

Do you still have this David?
I want to lift an amandine with 30 hp. I would have to check my current stand pole and verify weight. I think it’s about 800#
Thanks

If you end up getting it I make the trip from Sarasota to Thomasville Georgia and could bring it to Thomasville would save you a little over 500 miles of the round trip
