Hi all. I'm seeking Surveyor recommendations for a 40' Trawler in Olympia WA. I have three companies from the broker (not affiliates of the broker) but would love direct feedback from locals to see if they line up.

We had a good experience with Steve of Berg Marine Surveys.
To be clear, the boat at the time was only 6 yrs old and not much for him to catch. Regardless, he was not very expensive, he satisfied our insurance company, and gave us a good short list of things to correct.
I think he's based in Anacortes so i don't know if he goes as far south as Olympia.

Ha, true! We ended up using Allport Marine Surveyors for the hull and bob Siler from SOS Marine Service for the mechanicals and engines.
