I am just having my vessel done on Monday. A 43' vessel having an insurance survey, general valuation and engine condition.
$12 per foot if out of the water, so includes hull and running gear.
$10 per foot if out of water survey not required.
The company was recommended to me and I had asked 2 other companies.
Another was the same. The other was a friend who works for a larger company who mainly do mega yachts. He is contracted and they have minimum rate for a job which puts it into another arena altogether!
$800 does seem excessive!
