Added separate fire and smoke detectors and an extra bilge pump. Here are some pics. Note that the detectors, panel alarms and bilge switch are all from Aqualarm. The pump is a Rule Gold Series 2000 gph pump.

Did you also mount remote alarms on the flybridge?
Where did you discharge the new bilge pump?
Thanks

Yes, two identical panels (remote alarms) on the bridge.

Pump discharges through new outlet in hull.

Now that is a meaningful upgrade. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jeff! Amazing how watching a carbon copy of your boat burn and sink to the bottom of the ocean in FL provides motivation to perform such upgrades!

I am probably going to tackle something like this soon.

Any wiring diagrams you can share for each helm station and the panel in the bilge? Why did you elect to put a panel in the bilge? Can you turn on the pump from either helm? Do you have any high water alarm in either stateroom?

Did you contemplate installing smoke & fire detectors in the genset compartment? I see the smoke detector is photoelectric. Is the fire detector ionization and that is the difference? Do you have any alarm for these in either stateroom?

Which batteries are all of your bilge pumps connected to? House?

I may install cameras too, especially since I already have the base hardware in place for the reverse cam.

Thanks!
