Genset to Chartplotter display

Has anyone connected up the Cummins genset to the raymarine display?
It would be nice to be able to check the load etc.

Anyone able to do this?

Also curious if there is a cheaper cable to connect the Volvos to the NMEA network? Does volvo use a proprietary connection or share same design as some other engine manufacturers?
