Hi Bruce,
I like the mention about the props and rudder being concealed from damage and the ability to park her on the beach. Taking this feature to extremes could one possibly consider actually 'parking' her on the beach at some of those less than comfortable anchorages?
Imagine no rockin' n rollin' overnight at some of those crappy anchorages we all encounter.
Would she really sit flat so you could walk about the boat between tides ? or just flop over and sit at an angle and be impractable.

This isn't practical unless you're in a harbor that 'dries out' like in the UK. You need to be able to float in and float out. Otherwise you're truly beached. In most cases there is a point in between, where the 'rocking and rolling' in the anchorage becomes thumping and bumping in the shallows.
 
Still have my custom stair overlay for ST44 for sale, willing to basically give them away at $1,000. Need them picked up and gone ASAP.
