We just finished a fine 7 day shakedown of LindaLee from Vero Beach to Key West. A fine but slow trip with 17 bridges on ICW before the our 18kt run from Miami down to Key West(with stops)
A quick note-our survey had us installing new cutlass bearings, rudder packing kit, props being tuned and new gen impellor.

We plan to take her up the coast to Boston this summer .
We look forward to talking to other Swift owners.

Be sure to carry an extra generator impeller. They are easy to change but last only 100 hours or so. Great boat!!!!!!!

Thanks for input-so happened that gen impeller disintegrated last week. We have no idea when it was changed last (does have 324 hours on it) New impeller seems to be working fine but will routinely change it in the future,

Do you have fire suppression system on board? If so, check to see if it is activated. My st 50 still had the safety pins in the system, and I had to have the marina shop wire the system to the main helm and fly bridge.

Gettind ready for Maine

We have LindaLee At St Barts Marine in Charleston. We have "JM" a Beneteau service guru putting in a new AGM battery bank ,a large 100A charger/inverter plus eng/gen impellers and misc stuff. Heading North on June 1st for a 4 month R/T to Maine from Venice,Fl.
