Westerbeke 15 BTD temp readings

I have been taking temp reading around my generator as a part of normal checks. Gen loaded to about 75%. Temp at themostat top 178. Hose going into heat exchanger is 185, hose going out of heat exchanger is 110. Exhaust elbow is 130. All seems good. But the next checks I am not sure about. Temps at the top of the Coolant tank top which has the exhust manifold at the bottom, at the front where the coolant enters from thermostat is 187, middle near the fill is 197 and in the back where the exhust elbow is connected before the raw water injection point is 230. Is this normal? Coolant in the the tank coming out of tank is 185. Does the metal of the tank take some of the exhust heat and this is normal or does this sound like a problem. If so what? All temps taken with IR gun.

Exh manifold/tank will be hotter than the coolant coming out of tstat housing due to heat from the exh. 178 out of tstat is normal. Some parts of exh manifold will be much hotter as water jacket is not everywhere.

Looks normal to me.
