Can anyone recommend a shop of Tony Athens caliper in FL or the east coast?

NOT BOAT , but in one class of Drag racing one fellow seemed to win more often.

On a challenge the head would be removed , and the bore stroke , valve lift and size would be measured.

With lots of challenges he would yank the requested head and lay out a set of Starret instruments.

Took almost 8 years till the finally realized he has MADE his own micrometers etc , that were 3% or 4% "off".

Aint ingenuity grand?

*Took that long to catch you?

When I raced cars the inspection teams had their own Mics and go no go gauges.
