Hi Everyone,
I have 1985 vintage 3208 cats with same vintage glendinning synchronizers.
From the pilothouse, both throttles come back to idle when I pull the throttles back.
From the flybridge, only the stbd throttle comes back to idle when I pull both throttles back. (I have to go back down the the pilothouse to get the port throttle back to idle). The throttle "lever" comes back to idle "position" from the Flybridge but the RPMs stay high on the port motor.

I thought it might be a glendining syncronizer issue?

Any thought would be greatly appreciated ?

Are you saying this happens when the synch is engaged?

Here is the Glendinning manual, installation and troubleshooting documentation, note that idle needs to be slightly different between the two sides. Glendinning has great customer service and can help you with the issue whether it has to do with the synch or not. Give 'em a call!
