Ordered the specified RWP for my Ford Lehman 135. Had to use the gear off the old pump. Made a gasket. Proceeded with install. Couldent be easier...I thought. Started the engine and got zero exhaust water discharge. Long story short...the pump was rotated 180 degrees wrong so the pump sucked the water out of the engine and blew bubbles out the raw water intake. Of course a professional would have known to be certain that the pump was properly oriented on the housing...did I think of that or even think that the proper spec pump would come out of the box with the wrong orientation...NO! Rotated and reinstalled the pump and everybody is happy.
Just wanted to share my experience in hope that nobody else will make the same mistake.

Petdoc,
I've done that. Took a couple of looks to figure it out. :banghead: Glad you got it right. Now I take pictures with my phone before removing anything that I am not familiar with. It has saved me many times.

Cheers, Bill
