Peter Compton diesel book???

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Get the owners manual, repair manual and parts manual for your engine They are usually very good. General books are ...well general and may be a good non specific education.

Lots of stuff on the web these days.

Ten years I joined boatdiesel and bought a copy of Peter's book through his website. It is general and as I recall doesn't cover some of the things that do in modern, high output diesels: over propping, poorly designed exhaust system allowing sea water to back up, etc.

I learned much more by following every post related to my engine on boatdiesel for the past ten years.
