I have a Yamaha 25 HP two stroke. Recently, every time I pull the fuel hose off the outboard a brass/bronze fitting comes out where the fuel enters the outboard. I guess it was a press fitted piece. No threads or anything. I'm thinking about just epoxying it in place. Is that an OK method, or is there something I'm missing? Maybe re-seat it with a hammer and a piece of brass?

See if you can knurl it, make it slightly larger in diameter by creating grooves or burrs on the outside of it. Each time it pulls out it opens the aluminum bore a bit and will come out easier next time. Use a bit of thread locker after roughing up the outside with a sharp channel lock or something similar ... you know how a pipe looks after attacking it with a new pipe wrench ... look for that appearance, wet it with thread locker and tap it back in place.
