Is there a head gasket source for the above mentioned gen-set.

Thanks,
Bob

Did you try Cummins/Onan? Onan built that engine themselves, but last production was around 35yrs ago.

If Onan/Cummings doesn't pan out, try engine rebuilders in your area. They often have after market suppliers not listed on line. Most gaskets, internal parts are made in China regardless of the name on the box.
I have a MDL3 and that's how I get engine parts. Onan/Cummings isn't interested in selling small diesel parts. They want to sell you a new engine and prefer to sell a complete generator set.

IF the gasket is being replaced because it blew out you should consider the head mating surface.

At the local big glass replacement shop you should be able to purchase a scrap piece of thick plate glass.

They will cut a sq ft from a scrap piece and round the corners so you don't get cut for low bucks.

A sheet of fine emery on the glass will allow you to surface the gasket contact area to flat and smooth.

This is an old motorcycle trick that works as well on small noisemaker heads, outboard engines ,,,

Have fun,
