So moving from the Velvet Drive thread because why not. So I sucked up a crab pot and removed the prop with the help of the yard guys. Sent the prop to the Prop Shop in Mukilteo. Seattle Propeller Repair, New Sales / Prop Shop / Mukilteo Location

BTW, Northlake Propeller is closing down the business.

So they said my old prop was "too pink" to repair and he's working me up a good used one. Should have it tomorrow.

I now hate crab.

Pink is a sign of electrolysis. You should check why that is happening. Could be a low quality prop or a for real electrolysis problem. Howard

Yes, electrolysis, but it's a 40 year old prop. It has some ring left into it, but was told he couldn't braze it or whatever they do. Anyhow, should be back in the water soon. Checked the shaft and it's in good nick. While it's on the hard will take care of a few other chores.
