I wouldn't be afraid of this engine, even with the low hours. I would however get an engine survey to make sure there are no issues you don't know about. My guess is with a major service, changing some of the rubber items, hoses, belts, impellers along with new zincs, oil and filters and you'd have an engine that would give you many more hours of service.
