Location of Onan 5kw genset

Just purchased a 2001 Island Gypsy 32 Europa. *Plan to install a 5kw Onan. *Anyone know where in the boat the factory installed the generator?

If not where is the best location?

On our 2001 IG32 Europa, the genset (5kw Westerbeke) is mounted on the centerline on a pad on top of the stringers in the engine room between the the shaftlog and the aft engine room bulkhead. It has met all of our electrical needs to date, although we are not heavy 110v uses. We also have a 3000w inverter.
