I'm replacing cooling system zincs for the first time on the new '87 Sea Ranger, and aside from the heat exchanger zinc, I cannot find any others on my Lehman SP275's. The raw sea water runs through the inter-coolers before hitting the heat exchanger and then out.

Anyone know if this era inter-cooler has zincs?

TIA,

My SP135's have anodes only in the heat exchangers. The raw water travels first thru the oil cooler, then the heat exchanger, then the transmission cooler. The anodes seem to take care of all three. Probably because they all have the same water source going thru them?

My SP225s only have one anode in the heat exchanger. It could be different on the 275 but I think they are pretty close.

There is no salt water in the engines. Everywhere there is metal and salt water, look for an anode.
