How to check oil in my transmission?

Well I would read the docs IF I had them, unfortunately the PO didn’t have owners manuals for most of the equipment on the boat. They had been using 30 weight oil so I have continued using it but thought maybe someone had better info.

If the manufacturer is around...they are best.


My manual for my tranny is 31 years old....




The manufacturer might have found a lubricant they prefer now over 30 year old options.
