front seal oil leak

The front seal on my 120 Lehman leaked after I went through the engine. I put in a new seal and made an alignment tool that fits the crank and into the lip of the cover. It still leaks, the balancer is in excellent shape.
Is there supposed to be an oil slinger on the crank? I took about 6 months to build it and may have misplaced it if there was one.
