Has anyone here actually owned a 400 hp Ford Merlin marine diesel engine?
In my searches I (inc the Hull Truth) I can't find anything but negative comments. None of these opinions, however, come from anyone with actual experience.
There is a 45' trawler for sale with this engine.

P.S. I am back. Went to the extreme darkside (DP Motorhome) for a year but RV parks are not for me so I sold it. Searching for another boat to replace my Albin 35
