Cleaning heat exchanger

I've seen threads about cleaning heat ecshangers using muriatic acid/water mix. How do you dispose of the mix when done?

Use a little baking powder to see if the acid is used up and neutral. If not add a little more baking powder until it is. Then pour it into your waste holding tank.
