Hi all,

Following on from my previous post about engine mounts for a 120hp Lehman.

The same motor has had the water trap muffler pong box removed and seems to be straight plumbed to the transom without a water trap.

I have been shown Vetus water trap mufflers by two possible shops. I am impressed by their ability to rotate and articulated inlet outlet for ease of installation.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone any experience using these Vetus products?
2. And, if yes any recommendation/experience on size for the 120 hp Lehman?

Thanks in anticipation.

I have a 4" Vetus water trap on my 75hp turbo diesel. I put it on when I repowered a few years back. It is made of high quality resin. I've had no issues with it.

Yes, I installed this two years ago,

There is a new model for 90 mm Diameter which apparently is more efficient, but is longer than my ones in length, check your space in transom lazarette.
