Berkley polarized with magnifiers from Walmart sporting goods section. About $20. I won a pair of Costa, but I could not read my GPS so I gave them away.

I have the good fortune of having a brother-in law that works for Loxottica. They make most high end brands out there and have a "friends & family" sale about twice a year. We have many type on board and I love the Maui Jims and Revos. I also have a friend that reps Costa so I have a couple of pairs of those. I really like the Costas with the reading lens built in but the "bifocal" image takes a bit of getting used to when walking with them.
I find the Maui's are great on overcast days in cutting the glare without being too dark. I have very sensitive eyes and wear sunglasses sun up to sun down.

Maui Jims. I find that wearing cheap glasses seems to equate with headaches. I don't care what they look like and would prefer to spend less. But then, I do,find they cost enough that I tend to get about 2 to 3 years out of them before they are just too beat up to go on.

I've had trouble with my eyes after 50 years of sailing and skiing for a living. I buy polarized glass lenses with a reflective coating outside, and lots of side coverage. Currently, I'm on Maui Jim, but there are others. I wear them every day and hopefully I'll be able to see well enough to keep working for a few more weeks, months or years.

The last set of sun glasses I bought in the safety section at Lowes.
Cheap, UV rated, OSHA rated, and they wrapped around the eye. I can't remember if I bought polarized or not but they do have those as well.
Later,
Dan

Costa hammerheads with glass lenses, best shades I've ever owned. The randolph engineering aviators in my avatar are long gone having been sat on one too many times...

I spent my adult life wearing non-polarized RayBan G15 green lenses in my flying sunglasses. As a pilot, I couldn't wear polarized and didn't see a reason to buy polarized for my boating life. When I retired, I bought polarized Maui Jims which were recommended by several friends.
It took a few days to adjust to the polarized aspects and the effect on polarized window glass and device screens. Now I don't give that a second thought and love the MJs! The high quality lenses are truly distortion-free, unlike some cheaper brands. They're comfortable and provide great coverage.
My wife loves her Oakleys. They are also great glasses.
I'll never go back to non-polarized lenses but I'll keep my old Ray Bans for future flying.

These are interesting...especially if you need some "reader" correction built in..They have several with a +2 correction in a polarized lens..

"HD Vision" night/day sun glasses - Yellow tint, 400 uv protect, full wrap around, not heavy.
Brightens yet subdues sun rays for relaxed vision in daytime as well as reducing headlight glare while brightening night vision.
$10 bucks each at local sun-glass store. Comfortably fits over my rx prescription glasses.
I've a pair in each vehicle and boat. With a dark blue lens pair for when I want to look Just Too Cool!

60 minutes did a program on sunglasses. Most all of the sunglasses are made in one plant in Italy. There are cheap glasses out there that are just as good as the big names. Let me know if you finger out which ones.

ONOS prescription polarized lenses. about $200, half the price of my Ocean Waves prescriptions. I do like the OW better though.

Pay attention to these guys or at the very least buy a few sets of keepers for your fancy glasses.

What kind of sun glasses do you use?
Well I finally chose a pair, decided to go with the Costa Del Mar Cabillito's. I really liked the frame design. I tried a friends on and they fit well, I also opted for the 580G glass lens which are superior to the plastic ones I had before, for clarity albeit more fragile. I picked the white frame to reduce heat vs a black frame plus it really looked good with the blue shaded lenses.
Here's a pic.
