We're very fortunate to have found a covered slip on South Lake Union. She fits, but to say it's a tight fit to turn her 90 degrees into a narrow channel and then again to get her into her slip is an understatement (especially for newbies like us).

Still, moments like this make us appreciate just how fortunate we are.

Single or Twins? Thruster(s)? Have you learned how to turn her in her own length yet? wind and current look non-existant. At least you won't be getting pushed around to much.

Twins, no thrusters. Yes, I was able to spin her within her own length. Certainly an advantage to be on the lake in a well protected marina.

Airstream, that's a great shot of your girl's butt. Was that taken before Seattle got hit with some snow?

nice job! at least you'll be able to work on both sides of her easily. Hey those appear to be fixed docks? I suppose the locks manage the lake level pretty well but surely there is some minimal water level changes....?
