Gt. Iguana anchorages

I see a couple of protected anchorages on the charts; one on the South side, the other on the NW end of the island. NOT, Matthew Town area. I'm going to suppose they are lightly traveled, can't find any references in the cruising guides. Anyone do either?

I lived there for a month, working there in 2003. There are no bad weather anchorages there. You can hide out in the small basin, but it was pretty sketchy back then.

My misspelling. Interested in Great Inagua.
Lantern Head Harbour and/or Alfred Sound for a 5 foot draft trawler.

I didn't even realize you had mispelled it.

Great Guana Cay is an island in the Abacos, and my favorite place in the world.

I used to go there before Nippers. It was a private island for a cruise line I worked for. I think Nippers is actually the bar that we used to have for our passengers.
