My wife and I have been looking to transition from sail to power and pretty much had been looking at different trawlers and Downeast boats. Express where not on our list However we recently looked at a 40 Roamer and checked some boxes we did not expect it would. My wife really liked the boat and I have been trying to find reviews from current or ex owners. These have difficult to come by and the C.C forums have allot of information but mostly on the classic Roamer. So was hoping I might find some opinions from the group
Some of my reservations are the blue gelcoat in good shape today but cost to paint few years down the road, Volvo TAMD 75 are close to 1000 hours it’s not the hours but 1000 hour service is right around the corner. Chris Craft confirmed they do not support any parts for this model so sourcing parts is a concern.
