Hull to deck on GS MY/MC

Does anyone have information on the internal configuration of the hull-to-deck joint on a GS44MC or similar models?

There is an approximately 1 1/2" raised rim upon which the wood sits. I assume the wood covers fasteners that go through the rim and through an in-turned flange on the hull.

Do I have the fasteners right?
How thick is the part of the deck that forms a lap joint with the in-turned flange?
How thick is the in-turned flange of the hull?

Hoping someone has intimate knowledge of this structural detail. I don't have ready access to the boat myself.

Ok, resolved my own question, sort of. In listing photos, I was seeing what I thought were holes drilled horizontally through the hull to deck joint, which made no sense to me. It finally dawned on me that these were male snap heads screwed in place the retain canvas over the wood gunwale cap.
I have no idea why my original thinking went straight to a hole drilled for no apparent reason. Had to laugh.
