I'm in the process of buying a 40' 1973 Marine Trader Eagle. She's a handyman's special and I plan on living aboard on the Jersey Shore. I've had 2 boats prior to this one. A 1973 Pacemaker 32 and a 1987 Bayliner 3270. This will be my first trawler and I'm very excited about learning from your experiences and just talking about boats.

Welcome to the board. I'm sure you will receive a lot of info and encouragement on here. I rejuvenated a rather tired 1975 vintage CHB 34 sedan myself. Very therapeutic - trying at times - but still satisfying. See avatar.

Welcome aboard Bennett,

I don't think you will find a subject that's not covered here, a friendly bunch with plenty of experience.

Welcome aboard, this is a place you will enjoy. Recently refurbished a Prairie 29, not done, because no boat is ever done. Good luck and enjoy the process.

Welcome we also went from a 3270 to a larger boat in our case a 3870, I still miss it when ever I'am washing the boat.
