Another North Carolinian...

My spouse and I purchased a 34' CHB trawler in January and are looking forward to spending time cruising on her. Right now, she's in New Bern at Northwest Creek while we get our bearings on our first boat this size and get ready to retire (in my case). I have been reading this forum for a while and have learned a great deal. Looking forward to even more.

Welcome aboard Bill.

We almost bought a 34' CHB Europa version, nice boats.

Say hi to all the gang there and welcome aboard! We'll be up for the next steamer for sure, but come down to the Oriental Boat show in April. Skinny Dippin's sundeck is going to be a margarita/tequila bar by invitation only.

Thanks for the words of welcome everyone.

Tom...I sure will say hi to the folks at NWC. And thanks for the heads up on the Oriental Boat Show. I sure would enjoy that but I am traveling that weekend. By the way, two couples who are friends recently moved their boats from New Bern to the marina I believe you are in at Oriental.

Yeah, and welcome from a fellow CHB (Clipper down here), owner from Downunder. Also a sedan version, so they did make the odd one even back in '75

I wondered if being from Greenville you'd know them! They are right around the corner from us. also on Fdock in NWC you'll meet AndanteII. They're not on TF but are from Greenville! Small world.

Nope. Although I work there, I am not quite as purple and gold as some folks.

The Admiral and I teach at different places so during the academic year we have a commuting gig. If we were to do the boat in colors, it would have to be purple and gold along with burgundy and gray. They'd clash...
