Finally found the boat and sold the house. Now looking for live aboard dockage in the area of Fort Myers/ Cape Coral. A plan and preparation of 15+ years is coming together:) ImageUploadedByTrawler Forum1423572121.964860.jpg

I like that boat!

Tell us more about it: Steel construction? What engine(s)? But most importantly, what anchor? ?

I finally found a 50 steel hull aluminum superstructure go anywhere boat. It has a 125 cat. Large tankage and watertight compartment.

She has plenty on anchor power. Thru bow pipe 150ish # plow on chain. Pulpit 80ish # plow on rode. At ready on bow deck 100ish # stainless danforth type on rode and large aluminum danforth aft.

Very cool. Post pics if you've got them. We love boat porn.

Like that 125 Cat. What does it draw?

I'd be interested to hear what you learn about dockage in that area. We'll be down there in March on vacation, but might do some casual abode shopping while we're at it...

Nice boat. Burnt Store Marina is 12.50 per foot per month, plus 6% tax, metered electric plus $150 live aboard fee.
