New Member from So Cal

Just joined the Forum. Home port is Newport Beach, CA. Love to read about the Pacific Northwest, especially Desolation Sound. Maybe someday.

Welcome from Northern CA! Our resident Tollycraft lover, Art, will be glad to have a fellow Tolly skipper.

Newport Beach, just a short 1.5 hour drive from my home in La Jolla. I love Newport but I love San Diego Bay more! Newport Beach is the perfect jumping off place for the short cruise to Avalon.

Spent many summers in Mission Bay on a 21' Starcraft, stumbling around on the wooden docks at the Bahia. Then moved up to a 42' GB and the Kona Kai Club. Got all our fishing stuff at "Dirty Dave's." After I bought way too many lures one day, Dave told me to be sure to keep them in the bag in case a big fish might try to take them away.

I think the big fish was me.
