Hello to the forum.

Joined to learn as much as possible. And I'm old enough to know that the stupidest question is the one that never gets asked.

My working career covered 26+ years in the f/g yacht manufacturing business. I retired in 1999 and my wife and I are now empty nesters. Being around boats for so many years, I have the urge to boat. I have been exposed to sail, power and long range cruisers. I prefer the slow live aboard style of boating and I have been perusing the trawler ads. Looking at something 28' to 35'. Something good as a looper. Single screw.

I stumbled across your forum and found it interesting, so I thought that I would join and learn. I am a North Carolina Tar Heel living in Nova Scotia since 1999.

Hello! Learn me...

Welcome aboard. Did not think that the Tar Heels ever left their ancestral home, but guess I was wrong. :-)
