Hello everyone

Hello everyone. Having owned a variety of boats over almost 30 years I bought my first Trawler, a new Swift 34, two years ago, and love it. I just thought I'd introduce myself and would be interested in chatting to any owners of similar boats wherever they are used.
We are East coast U.K. Cruising mainly the Thames estuary and occasionally across to Holland, Northern
France etc. We are weekend boaters and enjoy the social side of marina life. It's been said our largest expense during the season relates to restaurants.

Welcome aboard! Watch out for Mr. Firefly, he's pretty smart but a little crazy. Note his photograph.

What ever you do, don't ask about anchors! The answer is always, your anchor is too small, it's the wrong kind and you don't have enough chain.
